At Gray West Construction, we live for challenges, and the BMO Expansion across the Western United States was no exception. Completing 51 locations in just four months was a monumental task which highlighted our commitment to quality and safety.
Square Footage and Scope:
These projects ranged drastically in size, from 1,800 sq ft to expansive 15,000 sq ft. The program entailed an array of tasks, including carpet replacement, paint, wallpaper, data electrical, de-branding, and re-branding. Our team left no stone unturned, working behind the scenes to ensure everything was completed with the utmost attention to detail.
A Project Defined by Coordination:
From the moment we embarked on this journey, we knew that coordination would be the linchpin of our success. Our team turned several projects around every week and coordinated with multiple vendors and subcontractors. The coordination of this program was led by Chris Ashton, Mason Cushman and Jonathan Krauz, who were undaunted by the challenges they faced.
The BMO Expansion Program served as an invaluable learning experience for both our client and Gray West. The intricate coordination required, alongside the unwavering support of JLL representatives Meghan Bazemore, Mairim Smith, and Venera Tako, allowed us to expand our horizons and strengthen our relationships.
We owe a debt of gratitude to our remarkable subcontractors:
- Coast Floors
- Vertex Paint
- Three Light Electric NorCal
- Three Wire Electric SoCal
These subcontractors were instrumental partners in this program, tirelessly working alongside us to surmount challenges and deliver results that exceeded expectations.
Project Manager, Jonathan Krauz says with pride, “We would do it all over again, and we’re eager for more! The journey was tough, but it forged us into a stronger, more united team.”
As we reflect on this project, we remember that success in construction isn’t just about skill; it’s about the spirit of our people. BMO Expansion Program showcased the power of teamwork and the ability to overcome challenges on the path to excellence.
